The second weekend in May is time to dust off old jokes and polish up memories as the veterans and not so veteran grips come together to make merry at the wonderful venue Rucola in Little Chalfont.
This year saw a splendid turnout with folks coming from far and wide to celebrate the friendships made between grips over many years of work in the U.K film industry.
Ken Atherfold was honoured with the clapper from Bond for his long service to Her Majesty’s secret service.
Dave Cross was honoured for his tireless dedication as Chairperson.
Big thank you to Nicola and the team at Rucola.
Thanks to the rental house reps who attended and continually support this worthy enterprise. If next year you see the notice on the website please make the effort. It’s a great afternoon and a great place to hear a grip based story or two!
